I just wanted to take a moment to thank you all for following along here on Substack. I've been planning this launch since late spring, and your support has truly blown me away.
August was such a special month! I celebrated my birthday, hosted the inaugural Stitch & Spritz Zoom, launched this Substack, and finished a few needlepoint projects.
Each month, I set needlepoint goals to keep myself focused and intentional. Here’s a recap of my August goals and what was crossed off:
Finish Lincoln CenterFinally off stretcher bars and ready for a finisher
Start the NC stamp by Wipstitch (I ended up starting something else instead)
Plan stitches for a big canvasMore to come on that!Write my first stitch guideWritten and shared here on substack!
Take a needlepoint classTook my first class with Mary from Whimisical Stitch
Now onto…
September Needlepoint Goals:
Get a needlepoint stand (I’m thinking the system 4 lap stand)
Collaborate with a fellow needlepoint enthusiast
Send the RTA x ECS pillow off for finishing
Write stitch guides for the Newport and BCN travel rounds
Finish stitching the Negroni canvas
Avoid starting anything big… focus on ornaments until finishing deadlines pass!
💬 Let’s hold each other accountable!
I’d love to hear what goals you’ve set for your September projects! Let me know in the comments what you're working on.
I’m so excited to see what September brings, hopefully more beautiful stitched projects and loads of fun!
See you in my next one,
Beautiful job sweetie!
My goal for September is to stitch at least two Christmas gifts!
