Inaugural 2025 Bicoastal Stitches Ornament Exchange

Hello, everyone! For those of you who've been anticipating an announcement from me—surprise! I've been thinking and dreaming about this for over a year, and I'm thrilled to finally share it with you.
So, let's catch up: Why do an ornament exchange?
Earlier this year, I participated in an ornament exchange and had so much fun that I wanted to bring that joy to our community. It's a wonderful way to connect, share our creativity, and spread some cheer during the holiday season.
So, What Is an Ornament Exchange, and How Does It Work?
In the BCS ornament exchange, you’ll be paired with a partner, and their details will be shared with you in early 2025. You’ll get to learn about their style and preferences, then stitch something special just for them. At the same time, someone else will be crafting an ornament just for you!
Here’s how the logisitics work:
Once your stitching is complete, you’ll send it off to our friends at Saville Needleworks, who will handle the finishing.
Once the ornament is beautifully finished, Saville will ship it directly to your partner.
With care and thoughtfulness, you’ll create an heirloom that’s a surprise for your partner—and receive one in return!

Cost to Participate: $75 + tax, which includes ornament finishing, shipping, and a little surprise from me! After signing up, Saville will invoice you directly for participation fees. Please note that your spot will only be held once payment is complete.
Sign-Up Deadline: As of December 2, 2024, we have reached full capacity. Any sign-ups received from this point forward will be added to our waitlist. Thank you for your understanding!
Finishing Deadline: Your ornament must reach the finisher by May 1st.
As an added bonus, Saville Needleworks is generously offering a coupon code for participants, which will be sent out with partner assignments!
